Propaganda Music Canteen was established in 2005 and has gone through various changes throughout the years and yet still remains at the forefront of the late night scene in Fleet.

Often copied but never equaled, Propaganda Music Canteen is back following its 6 month closure for extensive roof repairs.

We offer a casual, fun, upbeat and relaxing approach to food and drink with excellent “can do” service in stylish surroundings. We are dedicated to bringing honesty and informality to food and drink, employing people for their passion and personality as well as their ability and attitude.

We serve a range of classic drinks, wines and spirits as well as an extensive cocktail list.

Propaganda Music Canteen is “that place” you’d love to call your own, open and welcoming whatever the occasion or reason to visit.

  • Jamie Rowlands

    In the height of the Happy Hardcore scene in the mid-90s, Jamie was asked to look after a friends turntables, mixer and box of vinyl.

    With his love of music going as far back as he could remember, curiosity got the better of him. So he plugged this unknown kit into the family stereo system and the rest is history!

    Evolving from vinyl to CD then digital, Jamie is now  a multi-format DJ known for Old Skool Garage, House and RnB. He has have been lucky enough to play in some of the South's most prestigious venues, including The Aquarium, 93 Feet East, Pacha London, Thirty3Hz in Guildford, The Weir Rooms in Bath and many, many others and now is part of the Music Canteen family.

    Fun Fact

    For NYE 2019 Jamie was privileged enough to be flown to the Jordanian desert to entertain a squadron of US Air Force personnel!

  • Davos

    Davos started playing out way way back in ‘89 spinning early House and Rave/Hardcore at free parties and events in local leisure centres as well as farmer’s fields!

    These days, as well as being a regular on the local club scene, he has  a regular show on the mighty RadioactiveFM as one half of Davos & Westy playing House, Funky House, Tech House, Breaks, Old School Hardcore and UK Garage.
     

  • Westy

    Westy’s music & DJ journey started way back in the early 90’s. His bedroom was covered in rave flyers & a set of vinyl decks (Technics 1210’s) sat in the corner.

    He used to love clubbing back in the day & the love of music has never left. Fast forward to today & you will find him on Radioactive FM with my regular Saturday radio show “Davos & Westy” which has progressed him into playing the local club scene.

    With many years of DJ experience, he’s a member of Slipmatt’s My DJ Hub.  He also plays a monthly DJ set for Raiders of the lost rave. He is also currently a contestant on Mix Master U.K. 2022.

    A personal highlight was playing a warm up set for Mark Knight (Toolroom records) in Guildford recently. All depending what venue he’s playing his mixes will have lots of different influences ranging from, Garage, Funky House, House, Tech-House, Techno, & Early 90s Rave with plenty of remixes to keep it fresh.
